Today's ride cancelled

We had planned to ride today, but due to rain we have cancelled. Maybe tomorrow.

Sunday's Ride

Well we decided to ride and see if we could get to Wheeler's Pass - - - Nope, couldn't make it. At the road by the well nobody had been up there and the snow was probably 2 feet deep, deep enough that our quads just bottomed out and spun the tires. We did do our good deed for the year, helped unstick a couple of young whippersnappers up there with a 5 year old. Old 4x4 pick-up with worn out tires, and no chains equal STUCK!!!! Of course then coming back down the hill we run into two other 4x4's equally stuck. These bozo's thought they'd drive their 4x4's up there with "all season" tires, LOL. But not too worry, they all had a full load of wives and kids with em.

Went to look at conditions

Took a ride up in the Escape to check out conditions on the mountain towards Wheeler Pass. Looks like a ride is in the works for Saturday or Sunday as there is lots of snow.

Rain week

With the rain forcast for pretty much the next week, looks like we may not be riding. This is a good time to get the quads all cleaned up and serviced.

Trout Canyon

We headed off on our adventure today to explore Trout Canyon. We also found our way to Lovell Canyon. We made a couple of side trips to explore other trails.

Members

Trying to get old guys to sign in as members is a challenge, LOL. We have decided to ride on Saturday, location will be Trout Canyon.

This is our new Blog for the Old Geezer's Group. Sunday there were 6 riders, Emmit, Jerry, Larry, Bill, Jack, & Ron. We took "Mini-Gnome" with us. We explored a short cut from the Mine across to the road up to Wheeler Pass. We discovered that is probably for 2 wheelers only.
